Our Story
Freedom Comfort Systems was started to build something special for Houston-area homeowners and small businesses: an HVAC company that wins trust through honest dealings, sound workmanship, and a straightforward approach to service. The company is small and growing, but it was built on a long background in service, operations, and the HVAC industry itself.
John E. Parker, Jr. launched FCS with the belief that customers deserve respect, truth, and practical recommendations instead of a high-pressure sales approach. From complete system evaluations to repair and replacement proposals, the goal is to explain what is needed clearly, do the work well, and earn a customer for life.

John E. Parker, Jr. (Jay)
Co-Founder
Jay is a native Houstonian with deep Texas roots. He grew up in Spring Branch, graduated from Spring Woods High School, and went on to study Industrial Distribution at Texas A&M University before earning his MBA at The University of Houston.
He has lived and raised a family in Cypress, Sugar Land, Houston, and the Memorial area and has come to love the people across these communities. As a teenager, Jay learned the value of quality work and fair customer service while working at a full-service Texaco station his father ran in Houston — values he carries into every job at Freedom Comfort Systems today.
Jay and his wife are Christians, and one of the core values they live out personally and at FCS is truth. That commitment is reflected in the John 8:32 reference you'll see on company trucks, signs, and throughout our work.
